
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated individual to provide secretarial support within the Home Treatment South Team, based in Worcester.
The Home Treatment Team provides an early referral service for community teams, supporting patients either in crisis or to prevent further deterioration in their mental health. The team works closely with Adult Inpatient Wards to identify patients who can safely continue their treatment at home.
You will provide a comprehensive administrative and information service and work collaboratively with other members of the administration team to ensure an efficient, confidential, and high-quality service is delivered.
A good telephone manner is essential. You will be required to demonstrate a professional, calm, and sensitive approach at all times, with a strong commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
The post offers a generous NHS pension scheme and an excellent annual leave package (27 days annual leave plus bank holidays).
This is a permanent post, 25 hours per week, worked Monday to Thursday, 09:0015:15.

The successful candidate will have a good standard of education, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently using their own initiative. You will be well organised, efficient, and able to manage and prioritise your workload effectively.
The role involves providing day-to-day administrative and secretarial support to the clinical team to ensure the smooth running of the service. Duties include managing telephone enquiries, inbox and diary management, audio typing, minute taking, and general administrative tasks. You will have regular contact with internal and external professionals and colleagues.
You will be flexible, able to meet service demands, and demonstrate a strong customer service focus. Essential requirements include excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office, strong audio typing and minute-taking skills, a Level 3 qualification in Business Administration (or equivalent), GCSE English (AC) or equivalent, and at least two years administrative or secretarial experience.
