An exciting opportunity has arisen for a suitably qualified and experienced Registered Nurse to take on the role of Team Leader for the Children’s Immunisation Service within NHS Tayside. The postholder will provide operational management and leadership to this nurse‑led team, ensuring safe and effective delivery of childhood immunisation programmes across Tayside.
Working closely with Public Health and the Child Health Department, you will support delivery of the National Vaccination Transformation Programme and contribute to ongoing service improvement. The role requires strong leadership skills, the ability to motivate and support staff, and experience of managing teams or coordinating clinical services.
We are seeking an autonomous practitioner who is proactive, solution‑focused and able to work both independently and as part of a wider multidisciplinary team. Applicants should demonstrate evidence of continued professional development and a commitment to high‑quality, person‑centred care.
Although the post is based in Dundee, regular travel across Tayside is required.
The successful candidate will receive a tailored induction and will join a supportive management team, with ongoing opportunities for personal and professional development.
Applicants must hold current UK NMC registration on Sub‑part 1 (RNA) or Sub‑part 2 (RN2) and demonstrate evidence of ongoing professional development.
