  • Experience managing a portfolio of contracts, ensuring compliance, value for money, and consistently high standards of service delivery.

  • Strong commercial awareness, with the capability to provide contractual and procurement support to senior managers, clinical teams, and project groups.
  • A proactive approach to contributing to procurement and contract management strategies, supporting their development and successful implementation.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex or incomplete information, assess contract disputes, and support well-informed decision-making in the organisation’s best interests.
  • A focus on identifying and delivering cost improvement opportunities, including both one-off efficiencies and sustainable savings.
  • Knowledge of governance frameworks, with the ability to support policy development and ensure adherence to organisational procedures, including Information Governance and Health & Safety requirements.
  • A collaborative mindset, with experience working across teams and with external partners (such as regional networks) to drive shared goals and service improvements.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines.
  • Clear and confident communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • A solutions-focused approach, underpinned by sound judgement and a commitment to continuous improvement.
