We are seeking 2 Registered Nurses who are either experienced in Enhanced care or new to Enhanced Care,  to join us and our growing multi-disciplinary teams.

The two vacancies are as follows:

18 month Secondment Contract at 37.5 hours per week

12 month Secondment Contract at 36 hours per week

Main duties of the job

Experienced nurse leadership to support you and your team when you need it

Specialist Enhanced care Induction & Education Programmes for all new starters.

A Unit based, experienced MDT to provide a fully holistic approach to patient care

Flexibility – contracts are available within a 12-hour rotational shift pattern (days & Nights) at Salford.

This vacancy is open to those who have a current NMC PIN to practice as an Registered Nurse in the UK.

Please note an NMC PRN PIN is not a full NMC PIN and would not fulfil the essential criteria for this role.

Skills

Essential

  • IT Skills demonstrating the importance of clear accurate documentation.
  • Communicates succinctly, clearly and accurately both verbally and in writing
  • Demonstrates ability to problem solve
  • Demonstrates ability to reflect in practice

Desirable

  • Clinical systems - previous experience using a patient record system i.e EPR, sunrise
  • Previous involvement in a continuous improvement project

Qualifications

Essential

  • Registered Nurse with current NMC registration (Part 1 Adult / General Level 1 or 2)

Desirable

  • Nursing degree or equivalent
  • Post registration critical care qualification

Knowledge, Training & Experience

Essential

  • Previous proven experience as a registered nurse
  • Ability to work with all members of the MDT
  • Effective communicator with evidence of dealing with stressful / emotive situations

Desirable

  • High dependency/Surgical experience
  • Ward experience
