Job summary

We are now seeking to recruit a Speciality Doctor to join our Rehabilitation Psychiatry services on a full time or part time basis. You will provide medical and psychiatric support to the Consultant Psychiatrists working in the service area and in the management of service users. The role will also involve working with other members of the multi-disciplinary team. Main duties of the job

We want a Specialty Doctor who can: Deliver the highest quality of clinical care to our patents and carers The post holder will be required to work in partnership to provide initial assessment and treatment initiation where appropriate of patients referred to the service. The post holder will need to ensure that people who use services, carers and advocates are treated with respect and dignity A specimen timetable illustrating how the specialty doctor timetable may be arranged within the current framework can be found in the attached job description. You will engage with the development of your Job Plan.

We are now seeking to recruit a Speciality Doctor to join our Rehabilitation Psychiatry services on a full time or part time basis. You will provide medical and psychiatric support to the Consultant Psychiatrists working in the service area and in the management of service users. The role will also involve working with other members of the multi-disciplinary team.

You will already have a minimum of 4 years’ experience at Core Training level or above, of which a minimum of two years will be in the relevant speciality, hold registration with the General Meical Council with a licence to pracitise and have/be eligible for approval under Section 12(2) of the Mental Health Act. Possession of MRCPych or equivalent is desirable. For those without MRCPsych training towards this will be supported, if desired. This is also a great opportunity for those who are working towards entry onto the Specialist Register via the Portfolio route.
