Job summary
The role of SOE is critical in providing victims of sexual assault with the dedicated support and care required. We're looking for caring and compassionate RN's, Midwifes, RMN's or Paramedics to join us as Sexual Offence Examiner to provide holistic care and support to victims of sexual assault.
Main duties of the job
Key Responsibilities will include:
Forensic examinations and obtaining forensic exhibits.
Develop Forensic strategies according to FFLM guidelines.
Actively working in partnership with external MDTs and Police.
1st point of contact for victims, Police and Social Services to discuss referral pathways.
Manage and promote the self- referral pathway.
Undertaking holistic assessments including sexual health, mental health, and safeguarding.
Producing individual management plans.
Supporting the continued quality improvement of the service.
Working under the Forensic Science Regulator requirements.
Obtaining consent for Health and Forensic procedures.

Job responsibilities
Location: Spring Lodge SARC, Lincoln, LN2 4DR.
Additional Locations: Occasional travel to other sites may be required.
Salary: £20.83 per hour.
Bank Role - Zero Hours.
Hours: Shift pattern consists of Flexible 24/hr cover - 8am-8pm or 8pm-8am, with some on-call nights, Monday to Sunday.
There is an expectation to complete enough hours to maintain competence in the role and meet the minimum requirements for case exposure - this will be discussed at interview.
