To be the first point of contact for all clinical admin enquiries, escalations from the Administration Team and Assistant Technical Officers (ATO’s).
To have a high level of expertise in the use of MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
To coordinate, analyse and prepare tabulated data, graphical representations, and reports for distribution to regional and national bodies, presenting data when required at local service meetings.
To lead (in the first instance) the Assessment, High Risk, ATO’s and Clinical Admin functions of the North Central and East London Breast Screening Service (NCL), including a close collaboration with other London Breast Screening services and the London Breast Screening Administration Hub.
To be responsible (or delegate appropriately) for the provision of an effective and efficient Admin Department, ensuring that the highest quality of service is provided at all times.
To liaise and report to the Service Manager identified problems, solutions and actions taken, with dissemination to all admin Officers.
To attend and participate in weekly planning/capacity meetings with individual clinical services.
To attend and participate in staff meetings as required, including weekly Management Team, Quality Management Meetings, and providing performance reports.
To lead the monthly clerical team meeting, ensuring that notes are taken and agreed actions implemented and reported on.
To deputise for the Service Manager at any internal or external meetings, feeding back as required. Meetings will include CCG Commissioners Group, Regional QA meetings.
To assist in the planning and implementation of multi-disciplinary team projects to improve the quality or efficiency of the service.
