An exciting opportunity has arisen for a high-calibre Senior Management Accountant to join NHS Healthcare Improvement Scotland.
As Senior Management Accountant you will be responsible for providing line management, guidance and support to the Management Accounting and Finance Officer functions within the organisation. You will provide strategic leadership and expert professional advice to senior management and provide key financial reporting internally and externally to the organisation.
The ability to manage conflicting priorities, support and guide colleagues and identify and lead on changes and improvements are essential qualities for the role.
The ideal candidate will be highly motivated and able to use your own initiative with excellent communication, organisational and leadership skills, have strong Finance systems knowledge and experience and is capable of working with finance, clinical and non-clinical staff at all levels.
