As a Senior Health Care Support Worker within Podiatry, you will support the delivery of high-quality podiatry services in a community setting. Working alongside podiatrists and the wider neighbourhood team, you will assist with patient care, support clinical procedures, maintain accurate records, promote self-management, and help ensure clinics and home visits run efficiently. You will contribute to a positive patient experience, support service improvements, and act as a role model for colleagues.

Main duties of the job
As a Senior Health Care Support Worker within Podiatry, you will be a valued member of the team, helping patients access high-quality foot health services across hospital and community settings. You will support podiatrists in delivering patient care, assist with clinic activity, promote self-management and healthy lifestyles, and contribute to a positive patient experience from referral through to discharge. assist in dealing with verbal/physical aggression using de-escalation techniques, this may include the need for restraint and/or seclusion (as appropriate to the role)
attend to the service users personal care needs as required
participate in a flexible rostering arrangement providing 24-hour/7-day care (as appropriate to the role)
