
The postholder will support the Clinical Audit & Effectiveness function at a time when the Trust is in the process of launching our 10 year strategy with quality improvement at its heart. You will join a well-established Quality Governance structure and will be an essential part of the team.
Clinical Audit Officers are an integral part of supporting and enabling clinicians to participate in the NCAPOP national audit programme, and providing expertise to guide and advise on the identification and delivery of local audit priorities. The Clinical Audit & Effectiveness Team are critical in enabling the Trust to monitor the quality of care it provides to patients. The team support clinical colleagues in identifying opportunities for improvements and implementing change that results in better options and outcomes for the population we serve.
The Senior Clinical Audit & Effectiveness Facilitator is a key member of the Clinical Audit & Effectiveness Team, working with the Clinical Audit & Effectiveness Manager to ensure that the organisation has an effective and robust Clinical Audit Programme in place which leads to improvements in patient care.
The post holder will provide advice and guidance on all aspects of clinical audit to teams across the organisation, ensuring that clinical audit activity is appropriately supported by the Clinical Audit & Effectiveness Team.
In addition, the Senior Clinical Audit & Effectiveness Facilitator will support the Trust’s process for the implementation of NICE Guidance.
