An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full time Senior Charge Nurse (SCN) to join the team at Campbeltown Community Hospital in Kintyre. The Accident and Emergency Department in Campbeltown sees an average of 15 presentation per day and the ward has 15 beds.
As the SCN, you will be at the heart of patient care. You will oversee the ward, A&E department, a small haemodialysis unit, day case treatment and outpatient clinics ensuring the highest standards of care that deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
With your strong leadership, you will coordinate patient care, manage operations, and optimise resources to create an efficient, compassionate, and supportive environment.

Kintyre is a beautiful, windswept peninsula in Argyll and Bute on the west coast of Scotland. Campbeltown itself is a three hour drive from central Scotland and has a small airport with daily flights to Glasgow.

- Effective from 1st April 2026, the Agenda for Change full-time working week will be reduced from 37 to 36 hours. Part-time hours will be adjusted on a pro-rata basis. There will be an increase in the hourly rate to ensure that pay remains unaffected.
