
Are you a strong team player, do you love working in a busy office environment and thrive on change? We are looking for a Senior Administrator roles within the Integrated Discharge Service (IDS)
You will offer supervision to the existing administration assistants, ensuring that the team deliver a robust service. In addition you will undertake additional duties working closely with our system partners. Completion of internal and external reporting ensuring data integrity will be key to the roll so extensive administrative experience is required .
We are looking for an enthusiastic, hardworking and adaptable individual, knowledge of acute hospital discharge pathways and processes would be an advantage but not essential.
You will need to be able to remain calm under pressure as this is a very busy service and can at times be a demanding environment and therefore we require an individual to be well organised with a positive attitude towards flexibility and change. You will also need to be an effective team player as this will contribute to the overall success of the service.
The hours of working are on a rotational basis between the hours of 8am to 5pm including weekends and bank holidays. Cross site working may be required.
In your role, you will provide training, direct line management, and supervision to the IDS administration team. You will be responsible for ensuring strict compliance with Trust policies and procedures at all times.
You will offer guidance and support to the wider team across the Trust, contributing to the smooth operation of the Integrated Discharge Service and helping to ensure safe and timely patient discharges.
As part of your responsibilities, you will ensure that administration assistants receive appropriate training and ongoing development, enabling the team to consistently deliver an excellent service.
Working closely with the IDS Hub administration lead, you will support robust service delivery. This will involve effective communication and the promotion of integrated working across health, social care, and both acute and community services.
You will also play a key role in supporting national reporting, maintaining data integrity, and ensuring that all KPIs are consistently achieved or exceeded.
Using continuous improvement methodology, you will identify and implement appropriate service improvements, contributing to the ongoing enhancement of the service.
