We have an opportunity available for a friendly and confident person to join our small team of security guards at Wansbeck General Hospital.
This position is part time, working the equivalent of 23.15hrs per week as part of a rota covering both day shifts and night shifts as a security guard.
This role also involves working a share of weekend and bank holiday dates.

Main duties of the job
The Security department at Wansbeck General Hospital provide a variety of services to patients and departments, including maintaining a safe environment for patients and staff, the provision of a high quality, efficient customer orientated Security service and compliance with the Trust Patient Confidentiality Policy.
Detailed job description and main responsibilities
- To provide a comprehensive Security service to all Wards andDepartments on site to be flexible in approach to work and undertake other duties that are assigned under the role.
- To provide a security service to the hospital and grounds, protecting people and property and detecting and preventing crime.
- To manage the Trust’s car parks, dealing with illegally parked vehicles and ensuring safe access and egress from site.
This post is required to work on a rota, a mixture of day shifts and night shifts.
