Within the role of SACT nurse within the Cancer centre, you will be working as a part of the wider team to safely deliver Chemotherapy, Immunotherapy, targeted treatment and supportive treatments for Cancer patients.
Main duties of the job
- Safely deliver SACT & supportive cancer treatments
- Perform clinical actives such as venepuncture, cannulation & access central lines
- assess & interpret, acute and other patient conditions, initiate actions as appropriate
- Communicate, professionally , clear and concise with patients & their relatives
- Use electronic prescribing systems
- Take responsibility for concise documentation
