16 Hours - Permanent - evenings and weekends, working 16:00 - 20:00 on a rota across 7 days.

We are looking for two highly motivated, enthusiastic and caring individuals to join our Rotational Ward Clerk Team based in our Day Surgery and Endoscopy Unit. We are looking for individuals who like variety and are able to work flexibly, efficiently and independently to support a range of services.
Please note that this vacancy is for 12 hours per week (4:00pm - 8:00pm) to include weekends and bank holidays. Flexibility will be required to cover annual leave and absence.
This post will be based in our Day Surgery and Endoscopy Unit.
Main duties of the job
- Welcome and check in patients arriving for surgery.
- Ensure paperwork and identity checks are completed.
- Print or prepare admission forms, wristbands, and consent paperwork.
- Coordinate discharge documentation and transport bookings if needed.
- Update and maintain patient information on Trust systems
- Manage queries from staff and patients
- Answer telephone calls from relatives, transport team or other departments.
- Order supplies, chase missing patient notes, and maintain stock of forms.
- Direct visitors and couriers
