Job overview

The  Day Surgery service is looking to recruit a registered Paediatric nurse to join the teams for adult and paediatric patients  Delivering care to patients attending for day surgery, from pre assessment, admission and  through to discharge.

You should be a motivated, dynamic and  caring registered practitioner who is able to demonstrate a high standard of clinical practice. You must possess excellent communication and team working qualities, with a willingness to learn new skills. You should also thrive on working in a busy environment and be forward thinking and passionate about delivering a high standard of care.

Main duties of the job

Working within the pre assessment, admission and discharge areas, recovery area and theatres you will deliver high quality care to our patient group.

We welcome individuals who have an enthusiastic approach to teaching students and junior members of staff.

Support and training will be given to staff to develop their skills in all areas of the day surgery service.
