Ward 401 is an Acute Medicine for Older People ward providing compassionate, person‑centred care for older people with a range of complex needs. We are looking for a skilled and caring Registered Nurse to join our friendly dynamic and innovative multidisciplinary team.
In this role you will:
- Deliver high‑quality nursing care tailored to the needs of older people, promoting dignity, independence and comfort.
- Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care, responding to changing clinical needs.
- Work closely with a multi-disciplinary team to support safe, timely patient pathways.
- Act as a positive role model, contributing to a supportive and inclusive team culture.
- Participate in quality improvement, safety initiatives and service developments on the ward.
- Have the opportunity to develop and learn through additional training.
- Be supported by the senior nursing team on the ward.
Main duties of the job
As a registered nurse you will be responsible and accountable for the delivery of high quality, effective, and compassionate nursing interventions. This includes assessment, planning, implementing and evaluating of holistic and individualised care. This will be in line with local, trust wide and national policies, procedures, values and behaviours.
