Ward 4 is a 32 bedded Acute care of the Elderly ward. Patient safety is embedded in everything we do. Our aim is to provide an excellent patient experience from admission to discharge ensuring all physical and mental health needs are met.

Main duties of the job
Ward 4 is a care of the elderly ward which cares for patients with a wide range of needs, from acutely unwell patients to managing long term conditions, complex discharge planning to end of life care.

The cost of the DBS must be met by the successful candidate(s) through salary deduction. DBS charges are as follows if applicable to the post:
Standard Check: £21.50 + Administration cost of £6.50 = £28.00. Deducted from salary over following 4 months or one off payment.
Enhanced Check: £49.50 + administration cost of £6.50 = £56.00. Deducted from salary over following 4 months or one off payment.

- Registered Nurse, with active registration
- NST 307 or equivalent.
- Relevant training at level 2 or equivalent

- ECDL or equivalent
- Further relevant training at level 3 or equivalent.
