As a Nurse at Manor Park, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of clinical care and wellbeing. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for assessing residents needs, developing and reviewing care plans, administering medication, and providing both physical and emotional support to residents and their families.

Main duties of the job
- Deliver and oversee high-quality nursing care in accordance with individual care plans.
- Undertake clinical assessments and monitor residents' health and wellbeing.
- Develop, implement and evaluate person-centred care plans and risk assessments.
- Administer, manage and record medications safely in line with professional standards and company policies.
- Respond appropriately to changes in residents' conditions and escalate concerns where necessary.
- Support the management of long-term conditions and complex healthcare needs.
- Provide clinical guidance and support to care teams throughout the shift.
- Liaise effectively with GPs, district nurses, hospitals, pharmacies and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate, timely and professional clinical records and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with safeguarding, infection prevention and control, health and safety, and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in audits, quality assurance activities and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support residents and families by providing information, reassurance and professional guidance.
- Contribute to the training, supervision and development of colleagues where required.
- Promote resident dignity, independence, choice and wellbeing at all times.
- Act as a positive ambassador for Manor Park Care Home and Sandstone Care Group.
- Undertake any other duties reasonably required to support the effective operation of the home.

Job responsibilities
The Registered Nurse (Days) is responsible for providing and overseeing the delivery of safe, effective and person-centred nursing care to residents within the home. The postholder will use professional judgement and clinical knowledge to assess residents' needs, coordinate care and ensure care delivery reflects best practice and regulatory requirements.
Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, the Registered Nurse will support residents, families and colleagues while promoting a culture of dignity, respect and excellence. The role includes clinical leadership responsibilities, ensuring high standards of care are consistently maintained and contributing to the smooth day-to-day operation of the service.
The successful candidate will act as a professional role model, demonstrating a commitment to quality care, continuous improvement and positive resident outcomes.
