Please note: Interviews will be held face to face at our Assessment Centre. We are unable to offer remote interviews or alternative dates. As part of this process, you will be required to be interviewed and participate in several assessments on the day.

As a Registered Nurse at UHN, you will:
- Deliver safe, holistic patient care that meets physical, psychological, and social needs, working within your competency
- Act as a professional role model, demonstrating high standards of practice, communication and professionalism at all times.
- Support the ward team by contributing to improvements in care and practice
- Use clinical assessment tools and risk assessments to monitor patients, escalating concerns promptly to the multidisciplinary team.
- Communicate effectively with patients, carers and colleagues, providing clear explanations, reassurance, and guidance throughout the care pathway
- Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential documentation in line with Trust, departmental, and NMC standards.
- Understand and apply safeguarding procedures, to ensure patient safety.
- Contribute to operational patient flow, including admissions, transfers, discharges, ward board rounds and safety huddles
- Take responsibility for professional development, keeping NMC registration current and engaging with training, supervision, and feedback
