Job summary
As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a vital role in ensuring they receive a welcoming and efficient service. Youll be responsible for managing incoming queries, booking appointments, handling administrative tasks and supporting the clinical team with day-to-day operations.
Main duties of the job
Key Responsibilities
- Provide a courteous and effective reception service to patients and visitors
- Answer telephone calls efficiently and direct patients to the appropriate services
- Manage appointment bookings, including use of triage tools and hub referrals
- Process patient information accurately using clinical systems
- Respond to E-consults and email queries in a timely and professional manner
- Maintain effective communication within the practice team and with external healthcare partners
- Support other administrative duties as needed, including filing, scanning, and managing shared mailboxes
