Main duties of the job

As a Receptionist/Administrator at The Loxford Practice, you'll play a vital role in delivering primary care services. Your main responsibilities include responding to patient queries, coordinating with the primary care team, managing appointment requests, and maintaining patient records. You'll also email, scan, and code clinical correspondence, process prescription requests, and utilize information systems for efficient workflow processes. The ideal candidate should have customer care experience, excellent communication skills, and basic PC skills in Word, Excel, and email. Previous NHS experience is welcome but not essential.   • Reception or customer care experience is essential as well as an excellent communicator both spoken and written.
  • Must have basic PC skills such as Word, Excel and email.
  • Able to work within processes, procedures and maintain confidently and data security.
  • Previous experience of working in the NHS is welcome but not essential.
