The role of the Rapid Diagnostic Centre Administrator is to provide specialist knowledge for the pathway of cancer patients across Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust.
The role will facilitate the smooth running of the patient journey by ensuring that the pathway is coordinated, streamlined and all processes revolve around the patient and their individual needs.
Please note there is no VISA sponsorship available for this role and we reserve the right to shut the role early should we receive sufficient applications.
Main duties of the job
This is an opportunity to support the Cancer Tumour Site Teams to facilitate the smooth running of the patient journey, by ensuring that the cancer pathways revolve around the patient and their individual needs.
The role will have a primary base at one of the three hospitals and will provide cross-cover within the tumour site teams to ensure a consistent and effective support for all cancer sub specialities is maintained at all times.

- Experience of applying hospital administration systems
- Significant previous administrative experience within a healthcare setting
- Supporting information demonstrates up-to-date knowledge and understanding key access targets
Qualifications

- GCSE Maths/English Grade C or above, or equivalent
- A level or NVQ3 qualifications

- IT/ Computer skills course
