The post for a receptionist for 2 days (Thursday and Friday) has become available within radiology at The Walton centre.
We are looking for people that are passionate about providing an exemplary service, to work part of a dynamic team helping to deliver a safe and effective radiology service at The Walton centre.
The successful candidate will be able to work in a systemic and methodical way, using there own initiative, be conscientious and have excellent interpersonal communication and customer care skills. Applicants will have a keen eye for detail., with the ability to remain calm under pressure and prioritize workload.
Main duties of the job
Book inpatient/outpatient appointments at the Neuroradiology reception
Deal with telephone queries. Assist with general clerical/administration duties.
1 Provide reception service for the neuroradiology service. Check and update patients details to ensure data quality is maintained. Record DNA'S as necessary.
2 Process all enquiries for information both face to face and on the telephone using the CRIS system, ensuring confidentiality, Caldicott and data protection guidelines are followed.
3 Liaise with ambulance control centres to process patient ambulance transport.
4 Provide cover for colleagues in the event of sickness and holidays.
5 Undertake general clerical tasks in the event of sickness and holidyas.
