Radiology Administration Team Lead
Band 4 £31,537 to £34,303 per annum
Plus £1,461 Distant Islands Allowance per annum

We are looking for a highly motivated, dedicated and enthusiastic Radiology Administration Team Lead to work in our busy Radiology Department. The Successful candidate will lead a team of clerical officers and assist the Radiology Manager and Radiographers in the department.
Imaging is undertaken for a range of specialities – Respiratory, Oncology, Urology, Vascular, Orthopaedic, Gynaecology, Paediatrics etc. We are committed to providing the best care possible to our population
The post will be based at the Western Isles Hospital.
The successful candidate will:
- Recognised qualification in Business Administration (HNC)
- Experience of line management or supervision in a medical environment which allows the efficient and effective running of the admin team.
- Experience of delivering a high level of customer service and a high level of people management skills.
- Proficient user of Microsoft Office package (e.g. Outlook, Excel ,Word, PowerPoint)
- Role model behaviour, maintaining personal, professional behaviour and integrity at all times.
- Problem solving and ability to respond to sudden unexpected demands.
- Build and maintains sound relationships within teams and with colleagues in other areas including corporate departments.
- Knowledge of Human Resources policies and procedures, including annual leave, recruitment, sickness absence and performance reviews.
- Good analytical skills with the ability to interpret and communicate complex information in a way that others can understand.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
- Excellent planning and organisational and negotiation skills.
