Main duties of the job

As Director of Clarity, you will act as the organisation's commercial lead, providing strategic direction, financial leadership and oversight of cross-functional teams to drive sustainable growth and business performance. You will be accountable for the delivery of Clarity's commercial objectives, with overall responsibility for EBITDA performance, long-term growth strategy and end-to-end P&L management. The role will lead the development and execution of strategic growth plans, identify new market opportunities and ensure commercial initiatives are translated into measurable business outcomes. Working closely with operational, clinical, finance and commercial teams, you will drive performance, enhance customer value and support the continued success and expansion of the business.

Job responsibilities

What You'll Be Doing Leading the development and execution of Clarity's commercial strategy to deliver sustainable growth, market share and profitability. Holding overall accountability for EBITDA performance, revenue growth and end-to-end P&L delivery. Identifying and capitalising on new business opportunities, market trends and strategic partnerships. Developing compelling value propositions that strengthen Clarity's position within target markets. Building and optimising customer acquisition, conversion and retention strategies to drive commercial performance. Using market intelligence, competitor analysis and performance data to shape strategic decisions and future growth plans. Partnering with finance teams to manage budgets, forecast revenue and deliver financial objectives. Leading cross-functional teams across commercial, operational, clinical, finance and marketing functions to achieve business goals. Building strong relationships with strategic stakeholders, referral partners, customers and industry leaders. Representing Clarity at business events, conferences and networking opportunities to enhance brand awareness and reputation. Establishing performance frameworks, KPIs and reporting processes to monitor progress and drive accountability. Overseeing service improvement initiatives that enhance quality, efficiency and customer experience. Chairing senior leadership meetings and fostering a high-performance, collaborative culture. Driving continuous improvement, innovation and operational excellence across the organisation.

  • We're keen to hear from candidates who can demonstrate:
  • Degree-level qualification or equivalent experience in business, commercial management, healthcare, finance or a related field.
  • Significant senior leadership experience with responsibility for commercial strategy, revenue growth and organisational performance.
  • Proven experience managing P&L performance, budgets, financial forecasting and EBITDA delivery.
  • Strong commercial acumen with a track record of developing and implementing successful growth strategies.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and influencing stakeholders at executive level.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills with experience developing strategic partnerships and business opportunities.
  • Strong analytical capability with the ability to interpret complex data and translate insights into action.
  • Experience establishing KPIs, performance frameworks and continuous improvement programmes.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills with the ability to represent an organisation externally.
  • A collaborative leadership style focused on developing high-performing teams and positive organisational culture.
  • A proactive, resilient and solutions-focused approach with the ability to navigate a changing environment.
  • Experience within healthcare, healthcare services, patient-focused organisations or regulated environments would be advantageous.
