As a Band 6 Primary Care Nurse, you will play a key role in providing high-quality, person-centred care within a secure custodial environment, helping to reduce health inequalities and improve health outcomes for those in our care.
This is a rewarding and varied role that offers the opportunity to work autonomously whilst being part of a supportive multidisciplinary healthcare team. You will assess, plan, deliver and evaluate evidence-based nursing care, manage long-term conditions, undertake health screening, promote wellbeing, and respond to a wide range of physical health needs.
As a Band 6 nurse, you will also provide clinical leadership and support to colleagues, acting as a role model who demonstrates professionalism, compassion and clinical excellence. You will contribute to service development, quality improvement initiatives and the ongoing delivery of safe, effective healthcare services.
