Job summary

An exceptional opportunity has arisen for the practice manager position at a well respected and established teaching general practice in East Central Manchester, Florence House Medical Practice.

We are looking for a highly motivated, friendly, innovative and flexible individual to lead our progressive management, administrative and clinical team. The person could be from NHS or non-NHS business background. We also welcome applications from graduates and leadership roles.

A competitive salary is negotiable based on individual experience.

Main duties of the job

To manage and coordinate all aspects of practice functionality, motivating and managing staff, optimising efficiency and financial performance, ensuring the practice achieves its long-term strategic objectives in a safe and effective working environment.

Through innovative ways of working, lead the team in promoting confidentiality, health and safety, equality and diversity, quality, communication, collaborative working, service delivery, learning and development and ensure the practice complies with CQC regulations.

We are part of the Clayton, Beswick and Openshaw Primary Care Network working together with 7 practices of which we are the largest, covering 11000+ patients with a team of 6 doctors, nursing staff, clinical pharmacists, physician associate, administrative staff and other allied professionals forming a dynamic, well supported team.
