Job responsibilities
Role Summary The post holder will support the continuing development of high-quality palliative and end of life care and the delivery of evidence-based practice to care and family services staff, including volunteers were appropriate, across community and in-patient services. The role will support the implementation of our strategy, creating a fit for purpose nursing and care workforce. The post holder will lead the practice education team in developing, designing, and delivering an education and training programme across all care and family services including planned care, specialist palliative care, wellbeing and therapies, and governance teams. The post holder will advise the wider organisation on mandatory training required and will oversee organisational compliance. The post holder will contribute to the building of a learning culture throughout the organisation and work closely with all departments within care and family services, governance & quality team, and the wider organisation, to ensure the provision of an excellent and equitable education service. The post holder will support network wide educational programs and engage with relevant regional palliative care educational programs. They will represent Claire House at external training events and participate in learning and development groups with other hospices or agencies as appropriate. Practice Education Team Key Duties & Responsibilities Scope of job To monitor and measure success against agreed performance indicators 1 Implement key workforce development and quality initiatives in
