Job overview

The programme uses data and analytics to understand the health and care needs of the population, identify inequalities and unwarranted variation, and support improvements in health outcomes and service delivery.

The team is building on a newly developed Snowflake data environment, currently in the early stages of release, bringing together integrated health and care datasets into a unified analytical environment. This will support a more comprehensive understanding of population health and enable the development of new analytical tools, metrics and approaches.

The Population Health Data Analyst will contribute to the development and use of this environment, including scripting, querying, developing metrics and supporting the integration and analysis of health and care data.
