Based in East Yorkshire, Priory Hospital Market Weighton is a level 2 rehabilitation hospital for adult males, offering bespoke and flexible therapeutic programme with therapies focused on stabilisation, skill acquisition, personal development, community integration, and developing competence and confidence in living skills.We also have close links to Priory Adult Care community services to develop discharge pathways out of the hospital.

What you'll be doing

  • Lead on patients’ physical healthcare assessments, care planning and ongoing reviews.
  • Provide specialist advice on areas such as diabetes, hypertension, COPD and wound care.
  • Lead Infection Prevention & Control across the site, including audits and outbreak management.
  • Deliver physical healthcare interventions including ECGs, phlebotomy and wound care.
  • Liaise with primary care services to coordinate patients’ ongoing healthcare needs.
  • Support and train nursing staff in physical healthcare, observations and clinical assessments.
  • Lead health promotion and smoking cessation initiatives.
