An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to undertake the role of Personal Assistant and Quality Administrator supporting Forth Valley Quality.

You will be responsible for the day to day running of the Forth Valley Quality office and the provision of secretarial support to the Head of Efficiency, Improvement and Innovation including diary management. You should have excellent keyboard and minute taking skills and have previous experience as a personal secretary or administrator working to Director/Senior Manager.

Based in FCH you will work in a dynamic and highly professional environment, within a supportive and welcoming team. Acting as a first point of contact for enquiries to the department, often dealing with matters of a confidential and sensitive nature.

You will demonstrate excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. You will be able to deal effectively with a number of simultaneous tasks and have the ability, commitment and judgment to ensure deadlines and actions are delivered whilst being frequently interrupted.

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office is essential, as is experience of complex diary management and attending meetings for the purpose of minute taking.

Previous experience within a similar/healthcare setting would be advantageous.

The duties of this post require the successful candidate to complete a Level 2 Disclosure Scotland check.

As from 1/4/26, the Agenda for Change full-time working week will be reducing from 37 to 36 hours per week. Part time hours will be reduced pro-rata. However, there will be a corresponding increase in the hourly rate so that pay will not be affected.
