We are looking for an organised and motivated administrator to join our Patient Experience team on a 12month fixed-term basis to cover maternity leave.
This is a varied role supporting both our volunteering service and patient experience work. You will play a key part in ensuring volunteers are well supported and that patient feedback is managed effectively.

We are looking for someone with strong administrative experience in a customer-focused environment, with the ability to manage a varied workload and meet deadlines. You will have good communication and interpersonal skills, confident IT ability, and experience using databases or handling data. You should be organised, reliable and able to work both independently and as part of a team, with the confidence to support or guide others where needed. A professional, calm and approachable manner is important, along with the ability to handle sensitive information and communicate with empathy. You will also hold a relevant qualification such as NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration, Customer Care or have equivalent experience, and be willing to learn and develop in the role.
You will work closely with the Voluntary Services Manager and colleagues across the Trust, helping to improve the experience of patients, carers and volunteers.
Your main responsibilities will include:
Acting as the first point of contact for volunteering enquiries
Supporting volunteer recruitment, induction and placements
Maintaining volunteer records and updating the database
Monitoring volunteer training compliance
Supporting the promotion and advertising of volunteer opportunities
Assisting with events and engagement activities, including schools and colleges
Providing administrative support for patient feedback, including Friends and Family Test and Care Opinion
Producing reports and supporting data collection and analysis
Supporting volunteers, students and interns with administrative tasks
Working with teams across the Trust and external organisations
You will need to manage your own workload and respond to enquiries in a timely and professional way.
Working Pattern: 37.5 hours per week. Monday-Friday 9am - 5pm
