Are you passionate about delivering outstanding customer service and ensuring patients receive the right care at the right time? We are looking for a compassionate, organised and proactive individual to join our Community Therapy Administration Team
As the first point of contact for patients, carers, GPs and healthcare professionals, you will play a vital role in coordinating access to community healthcare services. Your ability to communicate effectively, manage complex information and provide excellent customer service will directly impact patient outcomes and help prevent unnecessary hospital admissions.

Please note this role is part time 29 hours a week.
Main duties of the job
To ensure a high standard of administration services is provided, to make recommendations to the Team Lead and implement new developments.
To ensure all computer work and electronic mail are completed promptly and efficiently.
To ensure a comprehensive telephone service is provided to all staff, ensuring that messages are taken and given in a consistent and efficient manner.
Support with SBS and BSG ordering.
To ensure effective communication with service users, relatives and carers, visitors, staff and others.
To work with colleagues to ensure cross cover of all workloads, without specific instruction
Excellent customer service skills
Respond to patients, carers, and other professionals in a courteous, professional and effective manner whilst upholding Trust Values
Process telephone calls appropriately
Monitor and process electronic and verbal referrals
Update Electronic Patient Records
Book appointments for daily visits and clinics
Undertake other administrative duties within the Therapy team as specified by team lead
Liaise with Havant, Hayling Island, Waterlooville Petersfield and Bordon Therapy teams, and staff within the Southeast Hampshire Division to provide a safe, effective, and timely service to patients and carers
Provide effective administrative support to the Therapy Team and be able to work flexibly across the localities

Job responsibilities
To contribute to the provision of an effective and efficient community and inpatient therapy service including answering telephone calls from patients, carers, and other health care agencies and professionals and accurately receiving and recording information to convey to other staff through the electronic patient record or verbally in a timely manner.
The administrator will also assist in processing email referrals and messages received by the team. The administrator role will adhere to the service specification and operating procedures and provide administrative support to the therapy team. The therapy team receives telephone calls from patients, their families and carers, GPs, nurses, and other healthcare professionals. There will be a need to allocate to, prioritise, and communicate with community teams to ensure seamless, consistent, and safe care to patients.

- RSA 2 Word processing or equivalent or evidence of this standard
- GCSEs at grade C or equivalent, including Mathematics and English Language
- Current UK or EU Driving Licence
