Are you someone who likes problem solving and has a keen eye for detail? We have a vacancy within the Central Validation Team for the role of a Pathway Validation Co-ordinator. This role would suit someone who is thorough in their approach to work, methodical and passionate about providing high standard of data quality.

More detail about the role

The Central Access and Validation Team includes Patient Pathway Validation, WL Validation and Mutual Aid. This role is primarily for patient pathway validation, but there will be an expectation to provide support to all elements of the team when required. As a Pathway Validator you will undertake analysis, judgement and detailed validation directly from dashboards and reports within EPIC and provide patient level pathway information, when requested, to Operational areas.

You will participate in specialty RTT (Referral-to-Treat) PTL Meetings to ensure adherence to the Access Policy and RTT Rules. Training will be required. Please come and visit our team to understand what the role involves in more detail.

Please be aware that as part of the interview process you will be required to complete a patient scenario, based on the Access Policy.

We would also like you to come prepared to discuss and explain one of the following topics.

  • Access policy DNA rule
  • Patient Choice (C-Code)
  • Active Monitoring
  • What is a definitive treatment?
  • What would start a new pathway?

Working Pattern: 37.5 hours over 5 days. (Potential to work from home once trained)
