We are offering an exciting opportunity to join our motivated and passionate Outpatients Nursing Team.

If you are a qualified and experienced Registered Children’s Nurse who can demonstrate compassion, enthusiasm, and excellent teamwork, we would be delighted to hear from you.

This is a fixed-term position, offering both part-time and full-time hours, until the end of April 2027. The role provides an excellent opportunity to work collaboratively within our ambulatory care setting at Bristol Royal Hospital for Children, while developing a broad range of clinical skills. These include, skin prick testing, burns wound care, and suture removal to name a few.

The post is based across Carousel, Fairground, and Rainforest Outpatients, and will involve flexible working across these departments. There will also be opportunities to support outlying clinics, including St Michael’s Hospital (STMH), South Bristol, and Weston General Hospital.

Working hours include Monday to Friday between 08:00–18:00, and weekends from 08:00–13:00, on a flexible rota.

The successful candidates will:

• Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Be able to build and maintain effective relationships with a range of clinical and non-clinical colleagues
• Manage a busy workload, prioritise effectively, and make timely, informed decisions
• Be flexible and adaptable in a changing environment
• Have experience in burns and/or wound care dressings
• Be able to apply knowledge and theory effectively in clinical practice
