Main duties of the job

In this varied and fast‑paced role, you’ll have a primary function as :

Welcoming patients, dealing with enquiries face to face and on the telephone, making appointments and recording personnel details.

You’ll also have the chance to learn all aspects of the team’s work, helping to create a smooth, high‑quality service for patients, relatives, and clinical teams.

Your day might include:

  • Welcoming patients to clinic and supporting them with queries
  • Answering calls with empathy, accuracy and professionalism
  • Scheduling, changing, or cancelling appointments
  • Updating patient details and ensuring records are accurate
  • Working closely with clinical teams and other departments
  • Helping us meet Trust waiting‑time and data‑quality targets
