The position requires independent working although supervision is available within the Ophthalmology clinic. Some decision making is required. Full theoretical and practical training and support will be given to the successful candidate.
The post holder will work in ophthalmology outpatient clinics where they will provide high quality individualised care to a defined group of service users. They will perform tests which may include visual acuity testing, dilating patients, OCT and imaging using the Optos camera, visual field testing, pachymetry and tonometry.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
