
Job summary
This role will be fundamental to the delivery and running of a high quality and effective Lung Cancer service which will identify asymptomatic people, providing early diagnosis of both lung cancer and other lung diseases.
Main duties of the job
- Run virtual and face-to-face nurse-led clinics, assessing patient risk and referring high-risk individuals for Low-Dose CT.
- Deliver high-quality respiratory assessments and offer smoking cessation support as part of the screening pathway.
- Provide effective health promotion and tailored patient education.
- Recognise and escalate safeguarding concerns, red-flag symptoms, or emergencies.
- Maintain required accreditations (IRMER on induction; ARTP for spirometry where needed).

Job responsibilities
Nurse Lung Cancer Screening Programme
36 hours per week | 8am8pm | 3 shifts per week (weekend flexibility required)
Location: Midlands and North region covering Lincolnshire
Salary: £38,000-£42,000 + £4,200 car allowance or company car
Make a Difference in Early Cancer Detection
Join our Lung Cancer Screening team and help deliver a high-quality, lifesaving service across mobile locations. You'll work as part of a 7day service, including bank holidays, and follow a standard 12hour shift pattern while supporting early diagnosis of lung cancer and other respiratory conditions.
What You'll Be Doing
