We're seeking an experienced and dynamic Practice Nurse Manager to lead our friendly, high-performing nursing team. This is a key leadership role at Compass House Medical Centres; an innovative, values-led GP practice rated Outstanding by the CQC and Investors in People Gold award accredited.
We're looking for someone who is not only a skilled and confident practice nurse, but also a compassionate and organised leader; someone who leads by example, builds trust, and inspires others to thrive. Competence in chronic disease management is essential, and nurse prescribing is highly desirable. Most of all, were looking for someone who enjoys a busy environment, is proactive and curious, and is always looking for ways to improve care, systems, and team culture.

Main duties of the job
Working closely with the leadership team, you'll be responsible for:
- Leading and managing our experienced nursing team, ensuring safe, high-quality care
- Overseeing clinical standards, infection control, audits, and training
- Supporting service development across long-term conditions, minor illness, health promotion and more
- Contributing to practice strategy, QOF performance, and new models of care
- Coaching and mentoring colleagues to develop their skills and confidence
- Delivering high quality practice nursing care
- Championing our values of Caring, Teamwork, Collaboration, Excellence, Listening, and Innovation
