Pay Rates
- £12.71 per hour (7am11pm)
- £15.78 per hour (11pm7am)
- £16.33 per hour weekends (Fri 6pmMon 7am)
Working Pattern 24, 30 or 37.5 hours per week.
This is an on-site role at Lysander House, Cribbs Causeway, Bristol BS10 7TQ.
Training Fully paid training with ongoing support to become an accredited NHS 111 Health Advisor.
Full-time training runs Monday-Friday for 4 weeks.
Part-time training runs over 6 weeks (Every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thurs (6pm - 9.30pm) and Every Sat-Sun (9am-5pm)
Attendance and successful completion of assessments are essential.

Main duties of the job
As a fully trained Health Advisor, no day is the same. You will be using the NHS 111 Pathways system to assess patients over the phone and direct them to the most appropriate care. Although we are a non-emergency service, you may also need to deal with emergency calls from time to time and to arrange for 999 services if required. You will receive full support from your team and managers.
Some of your responsibilities will be:
- Initial Contact: You will be the first point of contact for patients, providing time-critical advice.
- Triage Calls: Youll assess and prioritise a wide range of calls based on urgency.
- Using NHS Pathways System: Ensuring safe and effective assessments by using the NHS Pathways system to guide decisions.
- Non-clinical Advice: Provide guidance to patients regarding their symptoms and next steps in their care.
- Accurate Documentation: Ensure accurate, clear, and detailed records of all calls for continuity of care.
