The purpose of this role is to provide a comprehensive, efficient and confidential secretarial and administrative service to the Neurology team, supporting consultants and clinical staff in delivering high-quality patient care.
In this role, you will be responsible for accurate typing, clinic administration, and patient pathway coordination, making full use of digital systems including Millennium (EPR) and T-Pro dictation software.
The role requires strong organisational and communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritise workload in a busy clinical environment.

Main duties of the job
Provide comprehensive secretarial support to Neurology consultants and the wider team, including audio typing of clinical correspondence, managing patient records and appointments on Millennium, and ensuring timely processing of clinic outcomes.
The role involves tracking patient pathways against RTT targets, handling enquiries, supporting clinic preparation, and working closely with multidisciplinary teams to maintain accurate records, support continuity of care, and escalate any issues appropriately.
