An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and organised Medical Secretary to join our busy administrative team at Victoria Hospital for 15 hours per week to be worked over 2 days.

The successful candidate will provide a high-quality secretarial and administrative service in support of Consultants and clinical teams, helping to ensure the smooth and efficient delivery of patient care. This is a varied role requiring excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Applicants should have previous experience in a secretarial or administrative role and demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills. You should be proficient in audio typing and have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel. An understanding of NHS waiting times is essential, and experience of NHS systems and processes would be advantageous.

We are looking for a motivated and adaptable individual who can work effectively both independently and as part of a team. You should be committed to delivering a high standard of service and possess the communication and English language skills required to undertake the role safely and effectively.
