
Due to the continued growth of the department, we are seeking applications for an enthusiastic, highly motivated, and experienced Medical Secretary to join the Gastroenterology Department.
You will be well organised, with a meticulous attention to detail, and have excellent communication skills. As the department is extremely busy, the ability to work effectively under pressure is essential.
The successful candidate will be self‑motivated, able to manage their own workload and time efficiently, and be competent in the use of IT systems. You will work well as part of a team, offering support to colleagues when required.
Applicants should be educated to at least GCSE level and ideally hold an administration and/or equivalent secretarial qualification. Previous NHS medical secretarial experience is desirable but not essential.
