An opportunity has arisen for a 12 month secondment/FTC role as Medical Secretariat Service Manager.  The post will oversee the medical secretariat Team Leads and work closely with and provide business support to the senior managers within the medical directorate.

Main duties of the job

  • Provide business support to Medical Directorate
  • Day to day management of dedicated Medical Secretariat Team.
  • Direct Line Management of B5 Team Leads and B4 Medical secretaries (as identified).
  • Overall responsibility for managing, maintaining and developing the directorate information system(s).
  • Monitors progress of projects and business cases.
  • Develops business plans.
  • The post-holder will be required to work autonomously and will be specialist for own area.
  • Manage delegated budgets in line with Trust’s Standing Financial Instructions.
