#TeamUHD are looking for a Medical Resourcing Administrator to join our busy Medical Resourcing Team.

This is a fast paced role with changing priorities and a varied workload.  Therefore, experience of working within a recruitment team, familiarity of recruitment  procedures and polices is important. Previous experience in a medical recruitment role would be an advantage.

You’ll be an effective communicator as you’ll be supporting managers in compliance and safe professional recruitment practices. In addition to this, you will be ensuring our candidates are well informed and able to complete recruitment and on-boarding procedures in a timely manner.

This position would be an excellent opportunity to for those looking to develop themselves within a medical/recruitment environment.

Main duties of the job

  • Provide our candidates with a positive recruitment experience using your excellent communication skills
  • Communicate effectively with all stakeholders to fill vacancies in the quickest possible timescale.
  • Complete pre-employment checks and issue contracts and send completed salary information to payroll
  • Undertake long listing for various vacancies
  • Attend interviews to provide HR guidance on a fair recruitment process and take interview notes

Person specification

Knowledge

Essential

  • Ability to interpret and explain Trust policies and procedures and National Doctor terms and condition
  • Understanding of NHS recruitment processes, priorities, and pre-employment checks

Experience

Essential

  • Administrative experience in a busy office environment
  • Customer service experience
  • Demonstrable experience of dealing with a range of Recruitment or HR issues

Desirable

  • Experience of medical recruitment practices
  • NHS recruitment experience
  • Experience in using ESR and Trac or other ATS or HR systems

Qualifications

Essential

  • Good standard of general education RSA 3 /GCSE A - C or equivalent demonstrable work experience

Desirable

  • Certificate in Personnel Practice (CIPD)
  • Recruitment training / qualification

Technical Skills Competencies

Essential

  • Good customer services skills
  • Able to evidence the ability to quickly learn new HR systems and software
  • Able to use Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word to an intermediate level

Other requirements specific to the role

Essential

  • Able to autonomously prioritise and plan workload to meet deadlines, often in a pressurised environment
  • Competent and experienced team player
