Located in Blackburn, Lancashire, Priory Hospital Kemple View is a 90-bedded hospital, offering level 2 rehabilitation, and secure services, for adult males. We can support people with a mental health condition and/or a personality disorder.

What you'll be doing

  • Provide professional leadership to the medical workforce and strategic direction across the site.
  • Champion clinical excellence, effective governance and a positive, supportive culture.
  • Oversee medical workforce management, including appraisals, rotas, annual leave, recruitment and clinical cover.
  • Lead on clinical governance, quality improvement and regulatory compliance, including CQC inspections.
  • Support and develop medical colleagues through supervision, mentoring, CPD and development planning.
  • Work closely with the Hospital Director and wider Senior Management Team to drive service improvement and strategic priorities.
  • Provide leadership on complex clinical matters and contribute to the delivery of safe, evidence-based patient care.
  • Support organisational change, innovation and service development across the hospital.
