We are seeking a Medical Director – Clinical Networks to provide senior clinical leadership for the development and delivery of integrated, multi-disciplinary clinical networks across EKHUFT. Working from ward to Board, the post holder will ensure that networked pathways, transformation programmes and population health intelligence are translated into improved outcomes, reduced variation and equitable access to care.
Working closely with Care Group Medical Directors, the Strategy and Transformation Directorate and partners across Kent & Medway, the role will strengthen collaboration across organisational boundaries and support delivery of the Trust’s clinical strategy. The post holder will support clinicians to innovate and redesign services, embedding evidence-based practice and digital enablement, while providing clear Board assurance on network performance and impact.
Main duties of the job
The Deputy Chief Medical Officer (DCMO) will provide senior clinical leadership for the establishment, growth and governance of Clinical Networks (CNs) across EKHUFT, ensuring they have oversight for the design and delivery of the Trust’s Clinical Strategy, the EKHUFT 2023–2028 Strategy, and the NHS Long Term Plan (LTP).
