You will be required to manage and maintain the reception desk environment and provide effective administration support to the Maternity Department.
We are seeking a friendly and approachable individual join our dynamic team serving as the first point of contact for patients and visitors of the Upper Floor Maternity Reception.
You will provide patients and visitors a welcoming environment. Your main duties will include guiding patients and visitors to the appropriate areas on the ward including Scan Rooms, Triage and Day Assessment Unit. You will also provide efficient and effective administrative support through booking patients in via the electronic patient systems, coordinating scan and consultant appointments for antenatal patients, and managing telephone enquiries.
The ability to maintain professional and composed manner in a busy environment alongside excellent communication skills is essential to this role.
