Are you an organised and proactive administrator with a passion for learning and development?

British Pregnancy Advisory Service (BPAS) is looking for a Learning & Development Co-ordinator to support the delivery of learning and development programmes across the organisation.

Working closely with the Practice Development Lead, you'll coordinate training activities, maintain learning records, monitor compliance, and support colleagues from induction through to competency sign-off.

We're looking for someone with experience in an administrative or coordination role, excellent organisational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities. You'll be confident using Microsoft Office, maintaining accurate records, and communicating effectively with colleagues at all levels.

You'll be proactive, approachable and committed to delivering an excellent service. Experience coordinating training or learning events is desirable, along with a commitment to continuous improvement, confidentiality, and supporting BPAS's values and a woman's right to choose.

This is a part-time, hybrid role with monthly attendance at our Head Office. Further details can be found in the Further Information section below.

Main duties of the job

  • Coordinate Learning & Development programmes, induction activities, workshops and masterclasses across the organisation.
  • Organise training schedules, competency assessments, observations and learner reviews.
  • Act as a key point of contact for learners, managers, trainers and assessors, ensuring learning activities are completed within agreed timescales.
  • Provide administrative support for both face-to-face and virtual learning events, including preparing training materials, joining instructions and course documentation.
  • Monitor learner progress through induction, mandatory and role-specific training pathways.
  • Maintain competency frameworks, logbooks, training matrices and learner progress records.
  • Ensure Learning Management Systems and training records are accurate and up to date.
  • Produce reports on training activity, learner progress and compliance, supporting audits and organisational reporting.
  • Follow up outstanding training requirements and support managers to maintain compliance across the organisation.
  • Provide general administrative support to the Learning & Development team, contributing to continuous improvement and the effective delivery of learning programmes.
